The weather will warm up in this week, with maximums above 35 degrees Celsius in many places, significant precipitation is still not expected – according to the national medium-term forecast of the National Meteorological Service.

Mostly clear, sunny, rain-free weather is expected on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The lowest temperature is usually between 9 and 14 degrees on Monday, 10 and 18 degrees on Tuesday, and 12 and 20 degrees on Wednesday, but it can be several degrees colder in regions prone to cold, while it can be a few degrees warmer on the waterfront, in downtowns, and in higher elevations. The peak values ​​will be between 27 and 32 degrees on Monday, 29 and 34 degrees on Tuesday, and 32 and 37 degrees on Wednesday. The temperature in Szeged can peak close to the latter, as is true for the following day as well.

On Thursday, in addition to a lot of sunshine, cumulus clouds will form, from which showers and thunderstorms may develop in a few places at most in Western Transdanubia and the North Central Mountains. The wind also picks up and strengthens in many directions. The air warms up from 15-24 degrees in the morning to between 33 and 38 degrees in the afternoon.

Sunny weather is likely on Friday, with a small chance of precipitation. 15-23 degrees are expected in the morning, and the air warms up between 30 and 35 degrees in the afternoon.

Sunny weather is also expected on Saturday, without precipitation. In places, the air movement can be lively and strong. Minimums are expected between 14 and 23 degrees, and maximums between 31 and 36 degrees.

On Sunday, in addition to a lot of sunshine, cumulus cloud formation will become stronger, and showers and thunderstorms may also occur in some places. The wind picks up and can be strong in some places. The temperature is expected to be between 16 and 24 degrees in the morning and between 31 and 38 degrees in the afternoon – read the forecast.
