The University of Szeged Has Signed Cooperation Agreements With Thirty Secondary Schools

The University of Szeged (SZTE) has signed cooperation agreements with thirty secondary schools to support the development of talent and further education, the public relations directorate of the higher education institution informed MTI.

According to the announcement, with the signing of the contract, the secondary education institutions operating mainly in the Southern Great Plain region have become partner schools of SZTE, allowing their students to participate in a number of programs supported by the university.

Under the cooperation agreement, high school students can take part in competency development training to prepare for advanced graduation, experience-based class trips to the university, as well as career guidance and self-knowledge training, as well as scholarships.

The lecturers and students of the University of Szeged continue their previous internships and hold university roadshows in schools, thus helping young people to choose a career.

The successful enrollment of students is facilitated by advanced graduation preparation courses launched both online and in the classroom. The 100-hour courses are advertised in Mathematics, Hungarian, History, English, German, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Informatics, but training is also available in other foreign languages ​​and subjects if required and in sufficient numbers.

SZTE’s partner school program also provides high school students with access to the world’s largest educational platform, Coursera, the statement said.
